Intern position at American Film Market October 30th through November 7th, 2018
Princ Films is a dynamic international sales and distribution company with offices in Los Angeles, Minneapolis, London and Munich. We acquire, produce, finance, market and distribute feature films and other entertainment content worldwide.
We are looking for an energetic, creative, proactive and detail-oriented person to join us in Santa Monica during the American Film Market. Our office will be in the top floor of the Santa Monica Loews Hotel. American Film Market is the biggest film gathering in the United States and the second biggest film market in the world (after Cannes). In this position you will have unique opportunity to meet and greet film professionals from all over the world; you will be in position to learn about all important aspects of the film business - from screenplay to distribution, from domestic production to worldwide film sales - all in one place and guided by experienced industry professionals.
As an Intern at Princ Films you will meet and greet our guests, clients and business partners, sort and present our screening materials, Introduce and present our film trailers, present our materials for projects in development, attend screenings of our films, assist in sales meetings and film presentations and manage meeting schedules.
We would like that you are current student or recent graduate or post-graduate with degree in Film, Fine Arts, TV, Communications or similar media-related major, with good verbal and written skills, that you are well organized and can multi-task. It is important that you have a great work ethic and are resourceful. We would ask that your appearance during the Market is professional and if you can speak any other language in addition to English, it would be a plus.
Further opportunities with Princ Films are available and will be considered based on your performance and desire shown during the AFM. Princ Films has sales and acquisition team based in Los Angeles and, based on the current volume of our business we are looking to add new people in 2019.
