Prime Focus Technologies NYC facility is a full-service post house in SoHo specializing in the transfer, color correction, conform and mastering of film and high-resolution content. With exceptional credits in film, TV and advertising, the NYC staff provide grading, online editorial, audio post, format conversion, duplication, encoding and quality control (QC) services. Our New York clients include production companies, creative agencies and editorial houses, as well as cable networks, content providers and distributors utilizing a variety of traditional and new media delivery systems. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic candidate who has a passion for TV/Film production/post production.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Strong interpersonal skills needed for client management. Must know how to build and maintain client relationships.
• Keep Clients and Operations informed of status of work orders.
• Need basic knowledge of transcoding and encoding for file requests.
• Checking file contents to confirm video/audio specs.
• Troubleshooting QC issues for files and delivery issues.
• File/Data Management.
• Management of tape vault, entering assets into our system.
• Maintaining timelines and deliverables, managing workflows internally and externally
• Able to work with tight deadlines and manage priorities of program delivery.
• Communicate with internal departments and clients in locations around the world.
• Alerting supervisors and managers of any concerns, issues or roadblocks
• General office duties.
What We Require:
• Has a genuine interest in production, and post production for Film & TV.
• Familiar with Mac and PC basic software.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, AVID & Premiere is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
