Search for Fall Intern - Literary Development jobs in New York-NY
We are looking for Literary Developments Interns receiving course credit through an accredited university for the 2022 fall semester. Interns will join us remotely, or in our New York office, September through December, two days a week, 10:30am-6:30pm (though we are happy to adjust your work schedule in accordance with your other time commitments). Current graduate or undergraduate students are encouraged to apply. Interest in - and some familiarity with - the publishing and film/TV industries are extremely helpful. Interns will have the opportunity to see how film, TV and other creative projects are identified, packaged and ultimately brought to audiences. Interns will:
- Read book manuscripts and write coverage
- Research and report on articles and stories
- Research authors/books, as well as publishing, film/TV and other relevant news
- Assist Junior Literary Scout with preparing daily tracking reports
- Provide general administrative support
Only candidates able to receive course credit through an accredited university should apply.
