Busy Post Production Company is seeking a Timed Text Operator to perform the following duties.
The ideal candidate is very detail oriented and is able to shift priorities as required on a daily basis to accommodate the changing needs of our clients. The candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. This position is full time and requires some evening and weekend work.
• Create, reformat, and edit captions, subtitles, or any timed text format document for videos to be distributed on a variety of platforms.
• The final files will represent perfect English grammar
• Will be required to detect and correct errors in spelling, punctuation, syntax, and individual clients' style guides. Responsible for managing tight deadlines and communicating with project managers, coordinators, operators, and other team members.
Required skills:
Caption/Subtitle editor experience of 1+ years, must have the ability and confidence to QC your own work
Fast and accurate typing skills - minimum 60 wpm
Excellent grasp of grammar and language
Comfortable adapting to new software and workflows
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, completing projects accurately and to deadline
Proactive, flexible and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Able to work independently and as a team player
Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional listening skills
