Full Time Job
We are searching for a Payroll Specialist to maintain the integrity of our payroll to ensure all employees are paid correctly and in a timely manner.
You will be responsible for:
• Processing biweekly payroll.
• Reviewing, auditing and balancing hours from ABIMM timekeeping system. Identifying errors, adjustments or missing records.
• Running file exports of hours and preparing file for importing into payroll system.
• Reconciling biweekly, quarterly, annual tax reports inclusive of year-end W2 statements.
• Generating routine payroll reports for use in the calculation and reconciliation of agency remittances for employee deductions such as 401(k) contributions, garnishments, union dues, and month-end accruals.
• Processing updates and maintaining employee records while ensuring data integrity.
• Paying attention to industry changes and legislative compliance.
• Supporting existing internal processes and policies and collaborating on the innovation of future processes.
You are qualified if:
• You have earned an Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• You have earned your Fundamental Payroll Certification, preferred.
• You have experience using UltiPro, preferred.
• You are a strong communicator - both verbal and written.
• You are high-energy, friendly, and highly organized.
• You possess strong problem solving and decision-making skills and can prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
• You have strong technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft office applications.
• You have a comprehensive understanding of state and federal wage and hour laws.
• You have experience with high volume, multi-state payroll processing.
