Part Time Paid Internship

As our Front End Developer Intern, you'll spend the 2019-2020 NBA Season designing and developing for our digital platforms including websites, social media and mobile. You can't be afraid to take risks and push yourself in the digital space.
You will work part-time from July 2019-April 2020. This is a paid internship - so expect to see what it's really like to be on our Digital Innovation team.
What you'll do:
• Assisting in design, development and maintenance of all online properties including but not limited to trailblazers.com and rosequarter.com.
• Providing development for digital projects and applications across the organization.
• Participating in meetings and brainstorming sessions for upcoming projects.
• Designing Trail Blazers and Rose Quarter digital assets for Ticket Sales and Services, Social Responsibility, Corporate Partnerships, Game Operations, Events, concerts, family shows and general marketing.
• Creating co-branded promotional web elements for Trail Blazers corporate partners.
• Designing graphics for social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
• Developing landing and splash pages, emails, newsletter, web ads for trailblazers.com, rosequarter.com and other external sites.
• Designing and developing graphics for mobile app.
You are qualified if:
• You are 18 years of age or older.
• You are in the process or have recently earned a Bachelor's degree in Web Development or Graphic Design.
• You can work part-time, flexible hours that could include nights, weekends and selected holidays.
• You can work on a Mac (primarily).
• You have a strong interest in Front End Development.
• You have experience with HTML5.
• You have experience with responsive CSS. Experience with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, or SASS is a plus.
• You have experience with some modern JavaScript. Experience with frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular is a plus.
• You have experience using various content management systems, preferably Drupal 7.
• You show an attention to detail, follow direction and have excellent organizational skills.
• You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects for multiple clients at a time.
• You demonstrate a real passion for social media or other emerging technologies. You're eager to learn new applications and software.
• You are open and responsive to design feedback and changes.
• You love the element of being a teammate. You show initiative, dependability and a positive attitude.
• You live with high ethical standards and can maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when working with sensitive or proprietary information.
• You are an effective and efficient communicator both verbally and written. You communicate project statuses to departments and clients timely.
• You possess the ability to lift 20-50 lbs.
