Reporting to the President and EVP, Communications, the Executive Assistant will ensure the smooth operation of the President's office and Publicity team. The Executive Assistant must be ready to dive into a fast-paced office and a start-up network environment, where creativity and teamwork are valued. The successful candidate is proactive, self-motivated and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with a strong attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor are required as the Executive Assistant will interact with all network executives and personnel, as well as with Pop's parent companies, industry partners, talent, and members of the media.

•Managing calendars, including meeting planning, scheduling, and preparation of all meeting logistics
•Answer incoming telephone calls; responds to inquiries and resolves issues requiring attention
•Prepare all travel arrangements (car, hotel, flight, etc.) for executives and talent, including creating itineraries and press tour schedules
•Handle expense reports and invoice processing
•Maintain direct and frequent contact with all heads of departments, often on sensitive matters
•Coordinate and update various documents for weekly internal meetings
•Assist with the coordination of special projects and events; manage monthly all-hands meeting and support other staff events
•Maintain office organization, including maintaining electronic and soft-copy filing systems and offering office supplies
•Assemble and distribute daily and weekly media coverage reports
•Update department's web site and press database
•Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations or related field
•The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting an executive in the television/cable industry
•Talent agency experience preferred
•Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, CisionPoint, and SharePoint
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels
•Learn quickly and show good judgment in decision making
•Enjoy being part of a team that works hard and well together
•Must be a detail-oriented self-starter who is extremely organized
