Job Brief:
Play a leading role building the top kids and family franchises of tomorrow. We're looking for a social media guru with a passion for digital kids stars and formats to help find, attract, engage and activate fans across social media. The ideal candidate comes to the table with proven success developing effective content strategies and growing accounts on Facebook and Instagram. You have a voracious appetite for driving growth and can formulate and sell a vision for content. You're adept at initiating and managing interactions with consumers and communities, turning them into brand champions, while always following the north star of our company values. You can be equal parts analyst, strategist, content producer, marketer, evangelist, manager and team player. You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and expect to wear many hats. With skilled colleagues eager to lend a hand, you're just as ready to get your hands dirty prepping a post and engaging with consumers online as you are outlining a plan, pitching a concept, and extracting insights from analytics. And of course, as a member of a kids company, you're not averse a little fun!
Responsibilities:
-Research and analyze social media landscape
-Identify and communicate potential opportunities to make a market impact
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conceive, develop, evangelize and execute social media strategies
-Develop content guidelines, examples and editorial calendars for producers
-Develop and produce content for social initiatives, both solo and directing internal personnel
-Plan, execute, analyze and optimize paid campaigns for account growth and activations of related products and experiences
-Help develop social team composition and recruit additional members
-Develop guidelines and strategies for engaging with consumers (including fans, prospects, kids and parents)
-Help manage personnel and processes related to customer support
-Develop and implement influencer outreach programs and coordinate influencer relationships
-Develop and implement testing and optimization methodologies
-Work with management to establish KPIs
-Track, analyze and report on key metrics and trends, and present actionable insights
-Be the social media center of excellence, helping to educate and elevate proficiencies across the organization
Qualifications:
-5+ years of professional social media experience
-Proven success in driving growth across major platforms
-Skilled in social content creation with proficiency in graphics, photo and video editing
-Experience in planning and executing paid social campaigns, especially to drive offline activity
-Expertise in publishing and reporting tools
-Proficiency in scheduling and project management
-Strong experience building and leading teams
-Positive can-do attitude
-Thrive in fast-paced startup environment, wearing multiple hats
-Excellent communication skills
