PMK• BNC Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant to join our Entertainment Strategies team focusing on content within personal PR, talent, and film. Candidate must be a self-starter, able to multi- task several moving parts and prioritize multiple running projects. Must be an excellent writer, have strong attention to detail, and be a great team player.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and coordinating busy schedule for Executive Vice President (EVP)
• Answering EVP's phones, rolling calls, taking messages
• Providing administrative support including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes and other tasks as needed
• Managing EVP's calendar
• Booking travel arrangements and creating detailed travel itineraries (air, hotel & ground transportation) for clients and EVP
• Monitoring press clippings for clients, track media impressions and ad values, and creating/maintaining coverage reports and grids
• Collaborate with the film team in selecting promotional clip suggestions and brainstorming pitch angles
• Handling incoming press requests and some pitching of stories to media outlets
• Ongoing maintenance and updating media lists
• Reviewing and editing press materials including press releases and alerts
• Ensuring press kits are current
• Responsive and informative client/industry interaction via phone and e-mail
• Covering client events, photo shoots, press junkets, and all publicity related activities
• Staffing red carpet events including award shows, premieres, venue openings and galas
Required Experience and Skills:
• 1 year of experience working full-time in entertainment or an agency setting preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Experience working with talent is strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Muck Rack, Cision, and other entertainment research based programs
• Professional, yet friendly people skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Responsive and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful
• Punctuality and reliability
