PMK• BNC's Los Angeles office is currently seeking an Assistant to support our Entertainment Special Events PR team. The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational skills and be able to adapt to multiple assignments and deadlines as well as a frequently-changing environment.
PMK• BNC's Special Events team represents prestigious red carpet events and award shows, creating compelling and unique PR campaigns that engage audiences and drive media awareness for our clients.

Responsibilities:
• Providing administrative support for the teams including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes and other tasks as needed
• Monitoring media coverage for clients, track media impressions and ad values, creating/maintaining coverage reports and grids, and managing press clippings
• Staffing red carpet events including award shows, premieres, venue openings and galas
• Maintaining and coordinating busy schedules and calendar for Vice President and team
• Answering phones, rolling calls, taking messages for team as needed
• Responsive and informative client/industry interaction via phone, e-mail, and in-person
• Handling incoming press requests and some potential pitching of stories to media outlets
• Ongoing maintenance and updating of media lists
• Reviewing and editing materials including press releases, media alerts, and credential grids
• Covering client walkthroughs, press junkets, and all client related activities
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Proficient in Cision and other entertainment research based programs (Factiva, Critical Mention)
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
• Experience in events and red carpets is a plus
• Professional, yet friendly people skills
• Responsive and professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to anticipate needs and be resourceful
• Punctuality and reliability
• Excellent team player
