PMK• BNC New York is seeking an Account Coordinator to support our Brand Communications team. Candidate must be a self-starter, able to multi-task several moving parts and prioritize multiple running projects. Must have strong attention to detail and possess great client service skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Monitor for print, online, broadcast and social media coverage for client brand accounts
• Maintain supply of client-related materials and documents
• Regularly develop and maintain media contact lists and databases
• Coordination and preparation for internal and external meetings
• Draft briefing documents as needed by team and client
• Pitch/interact with media as deemed necessary by account team leader
• Prepare clip reports and summaries as needed by team and client
• Read daily, weekly, monthly and online publications to identify client-relevant media coverage, including competitive market and industry information
• Contribute to client brainstorms with creative ideas
Required Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year experience at a PR agency preferred
• Administrative support experience in a fast moving corporate or agency setting preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
• Sincere interest in the evolving media landscape and emerging marketing techniques and platforms
