PMC: Associate Manager, Audience Development
Penske Media Corp. (PMC), whose award-winning content across more than 23 media brands attracts a passionate monthly audience of more than 310 million, is looking for a talented and committed Associate Manager, Audience Development to join our team in LA. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-scaling, mission-oriented company with a highly collaborative team. This role reports into the Associate Director, Audience Development.
What You Will Do:
• Regular reporting (weekly/monthly) and tracking of KPIs across various platforms in addition to fulfilling ad hoc reporting requests. Will go beyond reporting the numbers to unearth qualitative insights that will drive the business forward
• Audit social media practices of the individual brands and advise key stakeholders on best practices
• Pitch content and manage relationships with strategic distribution partners to maximize editorial placements
• Create feeds and troubleshoot feed issues for syndication partners
• Coordinate and execute internal marketing campaigns for PMC brands
• Brainstorm digital tactics for new audience growth opportunities
Your Skills and Background:
• 1-3 years' experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role preferably at a Media or Entertainment company, or advertising agency
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and their insights (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flipboard, LinkedIn, and Pinterest)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or WordPress
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Google Docs, particularly Excel
• Google Analytics experience not required but preferred
• Balance of Creative and Analytical thinking
• Must have excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
• A self-starter capable of working independently but also cooperatively as part of a team
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to handle multiple projects
• A strong communicator with a can-do, positive attitude and a strong desire to get things done
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
