POSITION SUMMARY: The PLATFORM Community Manager is responsible for providing a genuine hospitable experience and outstanding level of service for guests visiting and tenants working at PLATFORM. He/she will be the first point of contact for PLATFORM visitors by managing and working through the Import Newsstand. With that, he/she is responsible for understanding and anticipating guest's needs and ensuring that VIP clients are acknowledged and that all guests feel welcomed and serviced. He/she should understand what each store at PLATFORM has to uniquely offer so as to organically cross sell and up-sell with each guest interaction. In addition, the Community Manager will assist store tenants with day to day facilities duties including move ins/outs, maintenance requests and day to day questions. Also, as the Community Manager, He/she will have in depth understanding of the Culver City neighborhood and how PLATFORM fits into the environment by finding opportunities for partnerships with local businesses, events and influential community members
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Development of new hospitality initiatives for the property including guest gifting, VIP identification and cultivation, and general guest delight.
* Daily staffing of the PLATFORM Newsstand
* Working to improve sales and guest experience at the Newsstand
* Develop strategic recommendations regarding optimal property and parking operations, cost cutting opportunities and operational efficiencies
* Managing and strengthening Tenant relationships.
* Delivery of monthly asset reports summarizing property performance, guest data, wins, losses, feedback and improvements measured against each budget and goals
* Investigating complaints, disturbances and violations and resolving problems following management rules and regulations.
* Assisting with special projects requested by Runyon Group.
* Management of PLATFORM's website and FB listings for openings, announcements and events.
* Working with Runyon Group to coordinate on-site maintenance and construction needs
* Working with Runyon Group to coordinate on site events and activations
QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate has:
* 2+ years of hospitality or guest interfacing experience
* 2+ years of operational, facilities or management experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional time management experience and possess the ability to maintain a positive, professional and guest-focused attitude
* Strong interpersonal and relationship building ability
* He/she must be organized, proactive and have the ability to work both autonomously and cohesively

* Multi-task and work well in a fast paced, high pressure environment
* Present themselves professionally and in line with the PLATFORM dress code
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Have strong relationship building proficiencies
* Candidates must be willing and available to work nights and weekends
