Responsibilities:
1. Lead the lighting team to deliver the project on time and to the expected quality standards. Ensure and maintain the expected render time, quality and style across the project. Communicate and work closely with the VFX supervisor, CG supervisor and the pipeline team to ensure an efficient and creative production
2. Collaborate with compositing lead to establish an efficient framework for both lighting and compositing teams. Review, debug and improve team members' assets, workflows, and techniques. Assist with the creation of documentation for lighting guidelines and techniques. Implement workflow, scripts, and tools as needed
3. Be a positive and creative force in building a healthy work and team culture
Requirements:
1. 8+ years of experience in animation or film industry. Previous experience in lighting and/or compositing in feature films. Good understanding of modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, compositing and rendering workflows
2. Experience in Maya and Nuke is a must. Experience in V-Ray and Arnold is preferred
3. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressure
4. Ability to adapt to multiple styles
