Full Time Job
Minimum Requirements:
The FP&A Manager will primarily be involved in maintenance of the five-year business model, including forecasting all P & L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow activities. This role is also responsible for preparation of the Board Deck, production ultimates, ad-hoc analysis and special projects. The role interacts with every member of the accounting team as well as operational managers throughout the company.
The role directly reports to the CFO and dotted-line to the Finance Controller and requires a highly motivated, self-starting individual with a passion for film and technology and the wider entertainment industry.
Job Qualifications:
• Expert knowledge of double entry accounting
• Minimum of 4 years finance experience (or related field) for PE owned company.
• Must have excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills, accounting system experience a plus.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Degree (BA, BS) from an accredited college or university in Accounting and Finance or related field.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operational Finance
• Support in monthly / year-end accounting close procedures.
• Support in preparation of 13-week cash forecast.
• Lead meetings and partner with producers to track by-title financials.
• Preparation of financial materials / analysis to aid in strategic decision making.
• Ad hoc project work.
FP&A
• Development, monitoring and ownership of budgets.
• Preparation of Board Decks.
• Monthly corporate reporting / forecasting.
• Ownership of annual budget and 5-year plan.
• Management of Project cost accounting, including revenue and cost estimates.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience of working in a finance function within the film / media & entertainment industry.
• Experience of cost tracking and budget ownership.
• Strong business partnering skills in particular experience working with creative / non-finance business functions.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of and ability to interpret financial information.
• Ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Superior attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Adaptable with a proven track record of building strong working relationships within an organization.
• Driven with an eagerness to grow & add value to Pixomondo
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
