Talent Partner (HRBP)
Job Summary:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work with cross-functional teams (People Operations, Recruiting, Inclusion Strategies, Leadership Development, Benefits and Wellness) to increase organizational, team, and individual performance and improve the business' capabilities to deliver against its goals
• Serve as a coach and consultant to leaders and employees and provide subject-matter expertise on key organizational and management issues, including talent planning, employee engagement, development and career progression, and performance management and feedback with the goal of building client capability and achieving business results
• Actively diagnose issues, dive deep to understand the root cause and contributing factors and develop recommendations. Actively partner with client leaders and functional partners to implement solutions
• Proactively assess client groups' organizational performance, identify talent gaps, propose HR solutions that support the business
• Partner closely with client leadership and Inclusion Strategies to understand and integrate diversity and inclusion strategies into plans, programs, and practices to ensure an inclusive approach in the workplace
• Act as a change agent to drive cultural change in line with Studio values and goals. Develops and drives people engagement strategies that feed a culture where all employees are respected and valued
• Develop and execute a lifecycle approach to talent management focused on workforce planning, on-boarding, development, performance management, succession planning, talent movement and retention using people analytics and insights
• Lead the implementation and execution of ongoing talent, succession, and development plans for client groups
• Plan and lead organization design and change management projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and/or processes that create efficiency and support shifting business demands
• Translate short and long-term business goals into HR project and program recommendations. Manage projects and assignments to completion by collaborating with key stakeholders and functional partners to ensure appropriate solutions are delivered to support business strategies and goals
• Facilitates the consistent applications, implementation, and improvement of Talent practices and programs (e.g. merit and promotion, workforce planning, performance management, career development, etc.) across assigned client groups maximizing all available HR functional partners (People Operations, Recruiting, Talent Programs, Inclusion Strategies, Leadership Development, Benefits and Wellness, Disney Employee Relations)
• Use employee data to gain insights and make recommendations regarding culture, employee experience, and programs
• Collaborate with client leadership in evaluating performance of individual team members and provides guidance regarding development. Ensures people have the needed skills, tools, and talents to perform their roles

QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 7 years of forward-thinking experience in Human Resources, 5+ years in a HR business partner role
• You demonstrate the ability to build effective and trust-based relationships with a wide variety of individuals across diverse client groups
• You have strong business insight, you fundamentally understand key drivers and goals of business
• Demonstrated advising and coaching skills with both leaders and individual contributors
• Proven ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results
• Viewed as a credible, proactive, and trusted partner
• Solid ability to effectively manage conflict and resolve sensitive situations
• Excellent facilitation skills; able to effectively lead and facilitate meetings, classes, and discussions
• Demonstrated ability to stay objective and exercise sound judgment in complex situations
• Respectful; considerate and thoughtful in interactions with others
• Extensive working knowledge of HR standard methodologies, programs and policies
• Excellent working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
• Prior HR experience in a creative, artistic and/or high-tech industry preferred
