As a Systems Administrator on the Apple Support Team, you will join a group of technicians, administrators, and engineers to provide comprehensive, customer-focused support for macOS, iOS, and tvOS. The team ensures that Pixar's Apple systems remain a stable and secure platform for making incredible animated films; resolving day-to-day issues and advancing long-term projects in order to deliver exceptional technology experiences for all Pixar employees.
You have a passion for Apple products and a knack for providing elegant solutions to complex problems. You care deeply about empowering people to take control of their technology. You respond promptly to today's issues, but you aim to solve tomorrow's by building a self-service infrastructure and crafting comprehensive documentation. You are comfortable working independently, but you are happiest when collaborating across functions and realizing shared goals. Most of all, you are inspired by technology and its role in making people productive and happy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Triage and resolve IT support request tickets
• Contribute to projects that reduce support tickets and improve the employee experience
• Serve as next-tier support for issues escalated from the help desk
• Help to develop and communicate IT policy
• Craft clear and concise documentation and knowledge base articles
• Participate in help desk rotations as needed
• Take an active role in shaping your professional development
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
• 3 years of macOS and iOS support experience
• Comfort with common Unix commands
• Demonstrated ability to plan and document project work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage a multitude of complex tasks and responsibilities
• Jamf Pro administration experience
• Okta, G Suite, Slack, and Box administration experience
• Atlassian administration experience
