Opportunity:
Provide benefits support to HR team and global company. Will be responsible for a variety of administrative duties related to benefits.
Responsibilities:
• Helps oversee the company's benefit plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, Workers' Comp, etc.
• Manages and maintains employee enrollments, qualifying events, disability claims, COBRA, etc.
• Helps lead the annual benefit open enrollment process
• Point person responsible for handling day-to-day benefit inquires/issues from employees and brokers
• Responsible for benefit administrative duties such as monthly invoice reconciliation/audits, weekly files feeds, etc.
• Works with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment of monthly premiums
• Responsible for assisting HR/Payroll with additional benefit reporting and data uploads, including but not limited to Workers' Comp, 401k, ACA, 1095C, etc.
• Assists HR Managers with tracking leaves of absence (FMLA/personal)
• Partners with 3rd parties (i.e. brokers/carriers) to ensure plans are running smoothly
• Tracks and reports any employee benefit premium catchups as needed
• Oversees general maintenance of employee benefit records and files
• Assists with implementing and maintaining various wellness programs
• Completes weekly PTO reconciliation and upload to Time & Attendance
Required Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• In-depth knowledge/experience with benefit plans/designs
• Hands-on experience in HR software (HRIS); ADP Workforce Now specifically
• Hands-on experience in data analysis (i.e. pivot tables)
Preferred Skills:
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications:
Education:
• High School education or equivalent required.
• BA/BS in applicable field preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 2 - 4 years' experience in an entry - mid level HR position focusing on benefits administration.
