Guided by the Player 15 Group Values and Principles, the Senior Coordinator, Team Experience is a detail-oriented and people-focused partner who supports the day-to-day efforts to create a positive and engaging workplace across all departments and teams (Suns, Mercury and Valley Suns). This role plays a hands-on part in delivering meaningful initiatives that support the growth, connection, and overall experience of our Player 15 Group team members.

This role will focus on supporting and enhancing the organizational culture for all team members inclusive of varying experiences and backgrounds. Reporting to the Manager, Team Member Experience, the ideal candidate will proactively align and attentively support our engagement strategy, diversity, equity & inclusion mission, and Player 15 Values and Principles.

What You Will Do:
Support Engagement Initiatives:
• Assist with the coordination and execution of engagement activities, programs, and events that drive connection, inclusion, and belonging across the organization.
• Bring energy and creativity to employee engagement initiatives that spark connection and fun to help enhance the overall team member experience.
Team Member Feedback & Experience:
• Help create and administer surveys, track team member feedback, and support data collection efforts to gain insights into the employee experience to evolve offerings that reflect the diverse needs, identities, and interests of our team members.
• Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of employee feedback processes.
Onboarding Experience:
• Coordinate and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and memorable onboarding journey for new hires. It's all in the details.
• Continuously enhance the onboarding experience by gathering new hire feedback, identify opportunities for improvement, and introduce Player 15 values driven touch points from day one.
Culture Activation:
• Support internal communications, culture campaigns, and rewards/recognition efforts that reinforce our principles and promote team collaboration and spirit.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization and bring culture to life by amplifying team member voices through storytelling, shared experiences that reflect our values and celebrate authenticity.
Event Operations:
• Manage logistics, scheduling, materials, and communications for TM Experience programs and events- orientation, Team Member Networks (TMNs), engagement.
• Assist in seamless event experiences from planning through execution by anticipating needs and overseeing all event details from space, setup, and attendee support.
Collaboration & Partnership:
• Work closely with People & Culture teammates and business leaders to ensure alignment and consistent delivery of the team member experience.
• Partner with Team Member Networks to create inclusive events, initiatives and communication that reflects diverse voices and foster belonging.
• Serve as a connector between leadership and front line team members to help elevate employee feedback and identify areas of opportunities.

• Familiarity with survey tools, internal comms platforms, or project management tools like Slack and Monday.
• Proficiency with technology and a natural comfort navigating digital tools, with emphasis on social media savvy or creative storytelling through visual content.
• A sense of humor and love for team moments - big and small
• Comfortable communicating in more than one language (Spanish/English) and helping create an inclusive vibe for all team members.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a related discipline, or equivalent work or military experience, combined with education.
• 3 years of experience in employee engagement, HR, internal communications, or a related event operations or training/ learning development field.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
• Ability to work on site - this is not a remote position.
• Local travel may be required for work-related events.
• Able to read, write & speak in English.
