Full Time Job
The Phoenix Suns are seeking a new team member to join our family as our Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator. This person will be responsible for administration of Azure cloud environment including migration/configuration and maintenance of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
What you will do:
• Administer Microsoft Azure Resources including all facets of Microsoft 365
• Monitor and enhance the security of current and future Azure environments
• Assist in developing project schedules, prioritize tasks, and coordinate resources to meet project schedule requirements.
• Provide SQL server management functions
• Maintains up to date IT systems and procedure documentation
• Maintains a high level of current knowledge regarding systems, technology, and communications.
• Provide second tier helpdesk troubleshooting and support as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
What we need from our Administrator:
• Strong knowledge of Azure technologies: Compute, Storage, Networking
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies: Active Directory, Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008R2 thru Windows Server 2019
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory management
• Experience managing Microsoft SQL server
• Adept with PowerShell scripting
• Strong collaboration, communication, time management, problem-solving and organizational skills. Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on strict deadlines
• Experience in independently running complex projects; utilize industry standard project management methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal skills. Possess high degree of discretion, integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Strong ability to work with others in a collaborative, respectful manner
Education and Experience:
• 3 years of experience as a Windows Systems Administrator
• 2 years of experience supporting Microsoft Cloud (Azure, Microsoft 365)
• Experience supporting database technologies (MS SQL, SSIS)
• Experience with virtualized environments, VMware/Hyper-V

• This role maintains traditional business hours with some game day responsibilities including some evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as business needs arise
• This role will require travel to and from the arena to the practice facility, Iron Mountain offsite colocation facility and Chase Field
• Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.

• Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
