We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Phoenix Mercury Content Producer with the Centercourt Studios Department.
This position will be responsible for leading our Phoenix Mercury video initiatives. Responsible for telling the story of the Mercury on social, broadcast, digital and in-venue channels, this creative must have a firm grasp on the artistic, technical and storytelling aspects of this role. Understanding of the Phoenix Mercury brand, it’s players and staff, and the WNBA and its culture is essential.

What Will You Do:
• Serve as the lead on Phoenix Mercury Video initiatives around the team - including ideation, planning, and all aspects of production from conception to delivery.
• Creating video assets to support Mercury revenue initiatives (GPS, Marketing, etc.)
• Traveling with the team to provide video support on road trips
• Solely provide video production support. (No post-production)
• Brainstorming and ideating around briefs and initiatives that require video support
• Categorizing and logging footage
What We Need From Our Producer:
• Knowledge of Adobe Applications (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)
• Video production (Filming, Lighting, Audio needs, etc.)
• Understanding of various aspects of video production equipment
• Knowledge of the WNBA, it’s players and culture.
• Conceptualizing video ideas based of required needs from requested initiatives
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to turn content in a swift manner (Capture>Edit>Delivery)
• Ability to pivot and adapt to last-minute changes in video production
• Work late nights, weekends, holidays and travel
• Organization and Project management
Experience/ Education Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree preferred, not required
• 2-3 years of professional experience required
• Adobe Creative Cloud expert knowledge required

• This role requires the ability to attend all home games. Traditional business hours are anticipated for non-game days. This role experiences flexible scheduling to include evenings, weekends, some holidays and some overtime as business needs arise.
• Travel may require air travel and/or overnight stays for one or more nights.
• Work includes both indoor and outdoor work with exposure to environmental elements
• M-Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
• Ability to work and communicate in noisy environments
• Ability to judge distance
• This role is computer based and will require extended periods of time working in front of a computer screen
• Capable of distinguishing colors and shades of color
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds/alarms
• Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
