Full Time Job
Job Purpose
The Phoenix Suns are looking for a motivated team member to assist in supporting the server infrastructure and provide high level end user support. A strong knowledge of Windows Server OS (2008-2016), Dynamics GP, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Web Services, and VMWare is required. In addition, general knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Cisco networking would be highly beneficial. A strong customer service attitude is a must.
Principal (Essential) Functions
• Administer Microsoft Dynamics GP, Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, IIS, and other systems.
• Monitor and maintain system performance, integrity, and availability of server hardware, software, and storage.
• Provide backup and recovery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Upgrade and patch hardware and software.
• Maintain up to date system documentation.
• Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Be adept with PowerShell scripting.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Dynamics GP,VMware Infrastructure, Windows Server 2008-2016, and Exchange Server 2013
• Basic understanding of Veeam Backup/Recovery Technologies,NetApp storage solutions, and Cisco networking
• Demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills in prioritizing and executing assigned tasks
• Must be able to work independently as well as work close in team environment
• Excellent customer service skills and strong documentation/troubleshooting skills
Experience/Education Requirements
• 2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator2 years of experience as a Systems Administrator
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Minimum physical requirements: Able to travel to and gain access to various areas of the arena for prolonged periods of time during games and events; able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
