Full Time Job
The Audio Visual Engineer is a member of the team responsible to manage all audio and video engineering duties for all events in the arena. This will vary from small meetings to large scale sporting events and national touring shows.
What You Will Do:
• Manage, maintain, repair and/or operate audio and video systems and troubleshoot problems for arena events
• Interface with clients, in-house and external, to manage their audio and video needs
• Manage A/V system upgrades and installation projects, interface with service and equipment vendors
• Setup and program NBA, WNBA and IFL scoring equipment
What We Need From Our Engineer:
• Live audio and video production experience
• Integration of in house and network TV feeds
• Working knowledge of broadcast video control room
• Knowledge of audio and video signal flow
• Ability to terminate and solder cables
• Experience with setup and maintenance of Clear-Comm Systems
• Experience with Tissot, OES and/or standard professional sports scoring equipment
• LED signage repair and maintenance knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and listening skills
• Ability to work in high pressure situations and adapt to last minute changes
Experience/Education Requirements:
• High School diploma required
• College degree preferred
• 2 or more years of related experience required
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, some holidays and some overtime to meet business needs
• Ability to climb ladders and ability to walk on catwalk 90 feet above the ground level and other extreme heights
• Exposed to very loud noises
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
