Position Summary:
Philadelphia 76ers is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Company's President. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and a heightened ability to multi-task and manage priorities. He/she must be highly conscientious, have great problem solving skill and be extremely organized. The incumbent must become familiar with all employees and be current with ongoing company projects. The incumbent should always be five steps ahead, thinking proactively and suggesting new ways to contribute while maintaining a positive attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Answers and filters incoming calls
• Interacts with ownership and senior management
• Arranges travel arrangements in addition to itineraries
• Manages one or more Microsoft Outlook calendars to schedule both internal and external meetings
• Confirms conference rooms and/or locations, attendees, and times for meetings
• Screens incoming emails and information on behalf of the President
• Prepares and edits outgoing correspondence to include email messages, memos, etc.
• Performs confidential administrative responsibilities
• Handles special requests as directed by the President which may include purchasing gifts, tickets to games, etc.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education
al Background Required:
• Associates Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred;
• Must have 7-10 years of experience assisting a C-Suite level executive.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel;
• Must be self-confident, resilient and possess a high energy level and enthusiasm;
• Must have the ability to rise to the challenge and provide the hard work necessary to succeed;
• Must possess outstanding problem solving capabilities to address and resolve issues that face a growing enterprise.
• Must have well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide variety of audiences, demonstrating strong communication skills
• Must be comfortable with engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written) and being attuned to others through strong active listening skills
• Must be results and bottom-line oriented yet will possess sensitivity towards people and values
• Must have the ability and willingness to maintain an impeccable professional appearance
• Must have the ability to demonstrate un-compromised judgment and discretion with regard to interpersonal relationships
• Must have a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use utmost discretion when privy to sensitive information;
• Must be flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and within company as a whole
• Must possess a strong ability to manage one's own time and prioritize tasks
• Must be able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.
Certifications:
None required.
Travel Requirements:
May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment:
The incumbent primarily works in an office environment, however, is expected to attend events that may take place on weekends and holidays.
