Position Overview:
The Director, Business Solutions is responsible for the creation and development of turnkey and customized cross-platform partnership programs that support revenue generation and partner retention across the Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment portfolio of properties Philadelphia 76ers, the New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., the GRAMMY Museum Experience Prudential Center, the Delaware Blue Coats, the Binghamton Devils, the Sixers Innovation Lab Crafted by Kimball, and renowned esports franchise Team Dignitas.
The Director, Business Solutions will work closely with the heads of Corporate and Marketing Partnerships to help define the strategic sales plan. S/he will lead the Business Solutions team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to lead creation of HBSE partnerships platforms for prospective partners (new business) and current partners (upsells and renewals) through: research (identify industry leaders, best practices, emerging technologies), platform development (idea generation, artist curation and proposal construction), internal vetting (Division approvals), creative presentations (create sales decks, collaborate with design team to bring vision to life) and inventory management. Efforts will be focused on inventory and strategies designed to maximize revenue streams for individual properties and the organization globally
S/he will work closely with internal Sales and Account Management teams to position and sell newly created platforms. In addition, s/he will work particularly close with the SVP, Corporate Partnerships to develop owned partner opportunities across the HBSE portfolio of properties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading partner brainstorms, working with coordinators in development of customized decks, attending pitch meetings, providing market research and competitive analysis, etc.
The Director, Business Solutions will assist in the implementation of newly created platforms. S/he will work directly with key stakeholders and senior management throughout the company to ensure each platform is executed properly on behalf of the company, the venue and the partners.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead the Business Solutions team and oversee platform development and creation of all sales materials related to Live
• Lead partnership development process from brainstorm through account management transition, working closely with sales and account management and internal/external stakeholders
• Liaise with sales and account management to understand partner/prospect needs/objectives to create new/customized integrated and compelling platforms
• Work with SVP on path to budget; create, vet and build platforms (custom sales material and P&L) accordingly; establish year-long development and sales strategy calendar of deliverables
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and key industry contacts to be top of mind during strategy planning
• Proactively identify new assets and build creative turnkey platforms to generate new revenue opportunities, while becoming intimately familiar with designations and promotional rights
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of all HBSE properties; eventually becoming everyone's 'go-to' as the in-house 'expert'
• Build and manage sales materials ranging from upfronts and evergreens to full decks and compressed 1-pagers
• Manage available inventory, track sold inventory, deadlines, property assets, designations and promotional rights granted by

Qualifications:
• Education: BA/BS Degree required
• Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in sponsorship, providing value-added strategic direction
• Substantial experience within the sports and entertainment industry
• He/she will have demonstrated exceptional project management skills with ability to create partnerships, vet and price, develop P&L and execute platforms, create sales material
• Strong creative and innovative mindset with analytical skills
• Highly detail-oriented and exercises solutions-focused approach
• Successful experience navigating through multiple stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic with ability to function independently while managing upwards to keep supervisor informed
• Proven ability to excel while multitasking in fast paced environment
• Excellent time management skills with ability to plan, organize and prioritize work to deliver exceptional work while hitting deadlines
• Ability and skill-set to communicate directly with artists and artist management

Travel Requirements:
• Ability to travel as needed (Will be required to travel between the NJ Devils/Prudential Center offices in Newark, NJ and 76ers Training Complex in Camden, NJ)
