Corporate Hospitality and Events Associate (Seasonal Contract)
Position Summary
The Associate, Corporate Hospitality & Events will be a polished professional with a creative aptitude and exceptional organizational skills. He/she will have the professional and social etiquette required to collaborate cross-functionally with teammates to meticulously manage the planning and execution of corporate events and hospitality initiatives that will enhance the client/guest experience. In a fast-paced environment, he/she will approach unexpected challenges quickly, creatively and strategically without missing a beat.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the planning and execution of all special events across the Philadelphia 76ers verticals including but not limited to Ticket Sales, Partnership, Business Development, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Sixers Youth Foundation, Ownership and Basketball Operations.
• Coordinate the planning and preparation of internal event meetings including kick off meeting with key stakeholders, staffing meetings and more.
• Manage staff volunteers on event days as well as orchestrate and lead pre-event and onsite meetings.
• Work closely and maintain relationships a variety of with event vendors including venue contacts, caterers, florists, A/V and beyond.
• Maintain a wide variety of event and hospitality budgets and provide progress reports to staff directors for each event project.
• Work in conjunction with the Human Resources team on all HBSE internal events including holiday parties, sporting events and team building initiatives.
• Assist with the planning of a variety of special events throughout the year including but not limited to corporate retreats, meetings and international partnership trips.
• Coordinate the game night VIP program including the management and distribution of VIP tickets, tracking all hospitality needs as well as greeting and managing guests throughout the evening.
• Plan and execute all game night events at The Center.
• Work closely with Business Operations on execution of the Ownership Lounge.
• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Philadelphia 76ers Patriot Partner Lounge.
• Work closely with Partnership to ensure needs are met for all corporate suite nights including décor, menu selection and beyond.
• Track all requests for events, tours and meetings at the Sixers Training Complex and work closely with Basketball Operations throughout the approval process.
• Collaborate with internal departments and Basketball Operations to assist with the planning and execution of events and/or tours and meetings at the Sixers Training Complex.
• Collaborate with the partnership team to help plan and produce large pitch meetings at the Sixers Training Complex.
• Manage the planning and execution of the season-long team trip program including building itineraries, coordinating reservations, working with staff attendees, gift creation and more.
• Help build and maintain ongoing list of vendors, venues and suppliers throughout the local area.
• Track all event-related materials and keep inventory of all promotional items, supplies and giveaways.
• Create event recaps post event and distribute photos to internal stakeholders.
• Continue to brainstorm new ways to enhance the overall look and feel of the Philadelphia 76ers Training Complex.

Experience Needed:
• 2-3 years of relevant experience including relevant internships
