Position Summary:The Corporate Communications Associate will assist the public relations department handle all media related activities. This position will give you hands-on experience in many facets of public relations field.

Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to the following:
• Assist with drafting press releases and media advisories for use in Corporate Communications campaigns
• Escort Sixers front office executives and talent to media appearances. Deploy promotional items to media organizations.
• Game night responsibilities: Escort Corporate Communicators media guests, coordinate Corporate Communications social and publicity events, deliver Corporate Communications information to relevant media and broadcast partners, etc.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and execution of Corporate Communications deliverables.
• Answer phones, maintain calendar and departmental schedules.
• Other duties and research projects within department as assigned by Director of Corporate Communications.
• Assembling media kits and copy points for radio and television promotion of events, including opportunities to distribute those media kits with supervisor
• Learn to track media coverage on a daily, campaign and game-by-game basis
• Performing all other objectives and projects as assigned
Qualifications
(educational, experience and basic knowledge requirements):
• College juniors, seniors, or graduate students.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, a customer-first attitude, enthusiasm, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Special Position Requirement
• Some game nights and/or weekends may be required depending on the position; flexibility to participate a plus
