Position Summary:
The Business Development Associate will assist the Business Development department in driving lead generation and expanding the business by coordinating market analysis, creating gifts and giveaways for clients, maintain relationships with existing clients and address their needs, and complete a range of administrative duties.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
• Providing support for company-wide programs and special projects through research, idea generation, presentation development and execution
• Assist with the development of marketplace overview and business development strategy including sizing of opportunities.
• Assisting with Sixers gameday activities, including gameday prep/set-up of arena and escorting VIP guests
• Assist with oversight of current internal merchandise tracking platform
• Help with the creation of gifts and giveaways for existing and prospective clients.
• Work across departments to identify and develop new ideas and assets that meet both corporate partner goals and departmental objectives.
• Develop, execute, and track effectiveness of marketing programs that are implemented with current and potential clients
• General administrative support for department, such as file organization, expense management and calendar maintenance
Qualifications
(educational, experience and basic knowledge requirements):
• Working towards or graduated with a bachelor's degree from accredited college/university in Business, Sports Management or other related field
• Ability to multi-task between concurrent assignments, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to changing priorities, assignments, and roles; works well under pressure
• Excellent communication skills including written and verbal; ability to present ideas clearly and concisely
• Relationship-driven with ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from vendors to executives
• Close attention to detail and follow-through in all responsibilities
• Creative and proactive problem solver
• Positive attitude
• Self-motivated with ability to work well in teams and cross-departments
• Strong computer skills (MS Office applications) required
• Flexibility in working extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
Special Position Requirement :
Ability to work game nights and/or weekends is required for this position
