Full Time Unpaid Internship
Perfect Game is searching for media interns who are creative, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and excited about youth baseball and softball. You'd be joining the growing Perfect Game Media Department which's is responsible for providing media coverage of Perfect Game's events as well as creating content to air on PerfectGame.TV. This role would involve some travel to different Perfect Game events along with some long hours and nights and weekends. The ideal candidate would have a basic knowledge of the games of baseball and softball along with an interest of the game. Candidates must have an interest in TV Production
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Production Support and Post-Production Support
• Running errands to pick up supplies and materials for remotes
• Distributing and updating production documents, schedules, misc. paperwork
• Research locations, teams, towns for operations tactical planning
• Interface with all areas and levels of internal and external contacts, sr. management, talent and others in a professional manner
• Grip work
• Video logging and labeling
• Video Editing, if the candidate presents those skills
• Project management
• Equipment organization
• Providing truck with Media/PR updates and team notes, line ups etc.
• Observing in the truck and out in the field with roving reporter, when applicable.
This is a remote position, but you must live within driving distance of Kennesaw, GA or Phoenix, AZ as you'll be required to travel to/from events in that area. This is a paid, 40-hour/week internship.
Education
And Experience
• Progress towards a college degree in Media Production or in a related field required
• Experience with video production and post-production editing recommended
• Team player and independent worker.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal direction.
• Valid driver's license
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
