Peoria's Parks, Recreation & Community Facilities Department is seeking a Superintendent of Grounds & Facilities to supervise and support the field staff, facility maintenance operations and project management of multiple facilities within the department, including the Major League Baseball spring training complex for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. Supervising and supporting the staff, operations and projects includes oversight of the operating budget, maintenance schedules, equipment management, utility resources and best practices for all baseball field campus landscaping, field irrigation and mechanical systems for the Peoria Sports Complex campus and other facilities.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent
• Minimum of five years related experience
• Requires a broad knowledge of complex systems, specialized practices, equipment and procedures
• Valid AZ driver's license
Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience in a municipal or government setting
• Five years previous supervisory experience is preferred
• Preference to a degree in a related field
