Basic Requirements:
-At least 2 years in the music industry working with creative artists required.
-California employment law with at least 4 years handling employee relations.
-5-8 years' experience in HR delivery in an unstructured environment.
-A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related topic.
-Discretion, sound judgment and confidentiality at all times.
-Experience managing: Recruitment, Human Resources Administration, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Manager Coaching, W&H and Training & Development.
What to Achieve:
-Trained and coached managers and employees.
-Resolution of employee relations issues.
-Legal compliance that works in a non-corporate environment.
-Mastery of in-house HR matters and demonstration of sound judgment when issues arise.
-Policies and practices in place that are compliant and also fit with the music industry culture.
-High performing processes for seamless and effective recruiting, on and off boarding of employees.
-High-value support to the COO as the 1st port of call for counseling and issue resolution.
-Efficient employee systems for tracking, record keeping, reporting and consultation, and advice.
