Bilingual Entertainment Research Coordinator, Europe
Are you bilingual in English and French, German or Italian and love films & TV from around the world? Use all your skills to research the leading European shows and movies in a fun and collaborative environment at VBI. VBI is the paid digital products division of Variety and the entertainment industry's premier data service provider in film, television and digital entertainment. You would work within our flagship research & data solution, VarietyInsight.com. This role is based in our Los Angeles office and reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Research.

Responsibilities:
Research, collect and enter current television programming data and film metadata originating from UK, Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy and Spain
Research television projects on the air and released feature films with surrounding metadata, including talent, companies, and executive contacts throughout Europe
Leverage existing relationships and build new relationships to verify and build-out website content
Ensure overall accuracy and data integrity of European language television and film information on the Variety Insight website
Work collaboratively with VBI team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Fluent in English and either German, Italian or French
At least two years of experience in the entertainment industry within production companies, agencies and studios
Strong understanding of online entertainment industry information resources
Strong knowledge of the international entertainment landscape in Europe and the UK
An eye for detail and passion for the minutiae surrounding the industry
Strong interest in research, information and ''grids''
Excellent software application skills across Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Google Drive
