Promo & Content Data Analyst, On-Product Promo Performance, Peacock
Peacock is looking for a Promo & Content Data Analyst to join the Audience Development team. This role will support the team responsible for on-platform promotions by providing analytics on delivery of promo campaigns and programming performance. The successful candidate has a passion for leveraging data and insights to connect consumers with the content they love.
Campaign Strategy & Analysis
• Own campaign tracking and analysis, maintaining daily impression, reach and frequency trackers
• Analyze promo delivery data and provide relevant and actionable insights to optimize campaign performance
• Create slides on campaign performance for weekly and monthly report outs to senior leadership
• Partner with Decision Sciences on campaign analysis and test cases
• Share campaign performance and insights in weekly strategy sessions with the promo strategy and CRM teams
• Aid in testing setup and reporting for omni-channel strategies across all marketing channels
• Gain deep understanding of the limitations as well as the opportunities of on-platform promotion technology and inventory
Platform and Content Performance
• Analyze content performance to inform campaign strategy and planning
• Digest content affinity dashboard to provide recommendations for repertoire expansion
• Track and update the team on programming performance
• Identify and analyze trends across VOD programming and virtual channels on the platform
• Compare platform KPIs against promo delivery to further understand campaign performance
Qualifications
/Requirements
• 1-2 years of relevant reporting and analytics experience
• BA/BS in Marketing, Statistics, or related field
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with ability to deliver insightful ideas and draw findings from reporting
• Experience working in PowerPoint to create decks and organize information from reports for easy consumption by internal stakeholders
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work with urgent deadlines and re-prioritize work when needed
• Strong interest in promotions, advertising and television desired
• Experience with video streaming (OTT) or subscriptions services is a plus
