Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a VP, of Media Supply Chain Transformation to play a driving role in modernizing Paramount Global’s Media Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with corporate operating goals including P and Paramount strategic priorities. The role requires serving as a driver of modernization, consolidation, and efficiency of corporate media supply platforms from asset acquisition to scheduling and ordering to fulfillment for partners and owned and operated outlets!
The role spans responsibility for tactics financial mapping, transformation metrics and efficiencies, and executive reporting, as well as establishment and management of core operating metrics. It is likely that the MSC Transformation will include notable rationalization of technologies and operations, necessitating a divisional transformation management office (TMO) with strategic and operational impacts that the VP of MSC Transformation shall lead and handle!
The VP of MSC Transformation will report to Paramount Global’s SVP of Media Supply Chain, serving as a key partner to that leader, setting division strategy, defining OKRs and driving operational improvements at scale. The VP of MSC Transformation will also work closely with the MSC finance team!
The VP of MSC Transformation’s direct reports will consist of three teams: MSC Program Management Office (PMO), analytics and reporting, and the transformation strategy and ops team (to be established). The PMO contains 10 project managers, overseeing the execution of strategic projects, executive reporting of progress, financial management, risk management and ultimately successful delivery. The MSC analytics and reporting team contains 5 analysts that gather operating metrics and deadlines which drive Media Supply Chain strategic decisioning and executive reporting. Additionally, the MSC VP will be responsible for building a new longer-term transformation strategy team (2-3 managers/directors) to oversee program strategy and ops for the MSC, including best in class op model and org design, digital media workflow standard methodologies, and media supply chain operational innovation.
The VP must have notable experience (10-15 years) working at the intersection of M&A and digital transformation in the media space, delivering multi-million dollar impacts at scale â€'' with a confirmed M&A integration track record with Fortune 500 companies. He / She must have a growth mindset with extensive experience in building and leading large teams at scale, working across global multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment!
Responsibilities
• Work with the MSC SVP and MSC leadership, to set division transformation strategy, define OKRs and drive operational improvements in line with transformation growth, cost savings, and rationalization targets
• Drive development of overall MSC transformation plans, including all transformation projects, rationalization efforts, communications planning, and harmony benefits
• Lead development of MSC transformation narrative and team communications, including to company executives and resource owners
• Oversee financial mapping and planning of major transformation initiatives, including associated alignment collection from those initiatives
• Be responsible for the TMO, driving day-to-day integration execution management, including establishing and operating a transformation management office for successful transformation and rationalization efforts at a global scale.
• Define and run best-in-class MSC transformation program processes, including work plan reviews, multi-functional collaborations, risk mitigation, issue management and executive reporting
• Track continuous improvements by establishing, measuring and reporting MSC operating metrics.
• Call out transformation issues and identifies solutions, mitigations and workarounds
• Develops and drives key MSC transformation projects (e.g. operational restructuring/realignments, 3rd party labor optimization, platform support organizing)
• Drive the pace of transformation, disciplines and protocols with best-in -class practices for execution
Basic Qualifications
• We would like this candidate to have 10 years of media industry experience working in media supply and digital media!
• Deep experience with transformation and consolidation initiatives at scale
• Extensive experience leading financials and operating metrics to track transformation progress
Additional Qualifications
• Deep domain expertise:
• 10 years of industry exposure to working in media transformations and digital media and technology-enabled businesses
• 10 years of functional experience driving end-to-end integrations / transformations, with a track record of establishing & operating an integration management office for successful transformation and rationalization at scale
• Ideally, previous familiarity for a credible M&A management consulting, private equity, venture capital or investment banking firm - with a digital media industry focus
• Shown integration track record â€'' must have supported multiple large-scale integrations, end-to-end, including:
1. Rationalization (case, valuation, integration costs, harmony collection)
2. Planning and road mapping (op model and org design, operational blueprinting)
3. Delivery/ execution (governance, commonality model delivery and tracking)
• Experience owning or handling financials, with demonstrable experience and ability to reliably achieve financial and operating targets
• History of partnership with leadership and workstream leaders to design integration strategies closely aligned with the future operating models, and to drive timely and objective decision-making with good judgment!
• Dependable record of communications with c-suite customers and across multi-functional teams - ensure senior leadership is aware of high level issues/risks and drive them to resolution with constant and dependable objectivity
• Do you have the ability to build, motivate, and inspire a team that works closely with leaders to successfully plan and complete integration achievements - experience in recruiting and developing a hard-working team ?

• Deep experience with financial planning and presentation of financial programs and decisions to executive partners
• Data-driven methodology and arrange approach for decision making and management, but also a strategic problem solver with a creative problem-solving mentality

• Passionate about the customers, the digital media space, and demonstrated experience at forming relationships with key constituents
