Overview:
We are looking for a VP of Sports Program Marketing to own the team responsible for developing go-to-market strategy and coordinated 360 marketing campaigns for Paramount Sports programming. In this role, reporting to the SVP Program Marketing Sports and News, you will work closely with cross-functional leads in driving the end to end marketing campaign, defining the overall strategic and creative go to market framework for sports content and leading outstanding campaign execution. Responsibilities:
• Lead marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution of Paramount Sports program marketing campaigns
• Establish key performance metrics for each sports campaign and analyze to optimize planning
• Partner with internal sports teams who lead all aspects of day-to-day external rights holder partnerships
• Craft first-to-market innovations to continually experiment, gain insights, and elevate the brand
• Establish new and continue to improve upon existing processes and workflows to ensure a high-functioning group including handling a bi-coastal team
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 10 years of sports marketing experience with consistent record of driving awareness, interest and viewing for marquee sports
Additional Qualifications:
• Passionate about sports including NFL, Golf, Soccer and College Sports
• Shown ability to meet deadlines with a phenomenal attention to detail
• A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, yet fast-paced work environment
• Excellent sense of humor
• Ability to travel to events and meetings
• Experience in driving acquisition for subscription product, digital preferred
• Strong understanding of the sports media landscape, and experience with paid and organic media planning and execution across all verticals
• Extensive experience making strategic decisions in real-time, including: developing strategy, positioning and targeting audiences based on qualitative and quantitative research; analyzing campaign performance data and optimizing accordingly
• Proven track record of building, leading and developing hard-working teams
• Experience partnering with athletes, leagues, and production teams on campaign marketing
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills
