We are looking for VP to join the Pluto TV team!

Overview and Responsibilities:
We are currently adding a new Vice President, Content Partnerships, who will be heavily invested in all parts of the content acquisition process including supervising and evaluating opportunities, defining content strategy through meticulous analysis of data, negotiating with and handling collaborations, and working across the organization to operationalize content agreements. This individual will directly be responsible for leading all aspects of top tier studio, film and TV distributors with the goal of forging positiver relationships to optimize the growth and performance. The role demands someone who can blend quantitative output with a strong subjective filter to build useful insights, multifaceted personal skills, the ability to effectively inspire change and manage a team.
• Developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of content partners, communicating regularly with key executives and partners, delivering business reviews, and crafting and executing against an operational plan for partner growth.
• Defining and implementing major studio film content strategy, including determining what programming should be licensed, genres, quantity, and developing creative licensing models structures to implement the strategy.
• Sourcing new partners and optimizing content pipeline from existing partners to bolster validated categories and support programming expansion across new categories.
• Negotiating license agreements and deal amendments to onboard new titles and structure partnerships for long-term growth and international expansion.
• Evaluating content acquisition opportunities and monitoring performance by conducting analysis of key data metrics and business drivers.
• Manage Global Deal & Business Operations including coordinating migration to rights management systems, ensuring insight into global content availability, operational efficiencies and contract compliance
• Working with cross-functional teams at Pluto TV including Programming, Marketing, PR, Finance, Legal, Content Operations, Ad Sales, and Distribution to foster and improve partner opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
• 10 years overall experience with 2 years at premiere consulting firm, investment bank, and/or major media company.
• Passion for entertainment with immense knowledge of films across genres and familiarity with the changing landscape of the media industry
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills with MBA-level Excel skills. Proficient working with software such as Tableau and willingness (and quick ability to learn) new software.
• Significant experience crafting and negotiating complex legal agreements; Attention to detail and comfortability drafting term sheets.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
Additional Qualifications:
• Excellent listening, communication, and presentation skills.
• Deep understanding of the streaming/digital/entertainment industry; familiarity with global markets and multi-territory deals.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in a progress oriented environment.
• Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.
• Sound foundation of business judgment, shown critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. MBA or JD preferred.
