Overview and Responsibilities
This position is responsible for providing operational and long-term support to LATAM Technology at Paramount. As a domain expert, the Supervisor, Client Services researches and analyzes requests from various groups, assists in projects, provides event support and is a point of contact for customer concerns. They are responsible for the installation, configuration and solve of end user hardware, software, and related peripherals including but not limited to: client facing support, hardware, software, mobile devices, peripheral and network troubleshooting for all end user systems. Researches new technologies and makes recommendations to management, supported by a complete technical and argument. Identifies and proposes opportunities to improve existing technical support processes. Advances incidents / service requests as appropriate, coordinating with any vendors and/or technology colleagues to ensure effective resolution. Tracks trends and recurring problem areas and directs junior staff as needed to address these issues, and personally resolves complex technical support problems that are raised from more junior colleagues.
Basic Qualifications:
• 3 Years IT experience supporting end user systems in a highly structured corporate environment.
• Has provided ongoing support and troubleshooting for computers and lap tops, Network, Audio Visual solutions. All PC and Mac supported applications used in an enterprise environment
• The ideal candidate has a self-directed, hard-working personality who can work well independently!
Additional Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in a computer science related field or equivalent work experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills!
• Be able to lift and carry heavy equipment up to 40lbs
• Have understanding and experience creating computer images (i.e. Ghost, RIS, PE, MDT), troubleshooting remote technologies (i.e. VPN, Citrix, VDI, Remote Desktop and Wireless Solutions) and knowledge of video conferencing setup and troubleshooting (i.e. Cisco, Zoom) and Support townhall events production and SLT meetings streaming with tools like vMix or OBS.
• Experience with Enterprise Management Tools (i.e. Big Fix, SCCM, Casper), Anti-Virus and encryption applications and strong knowledge of current Windows OS, Mac OSX and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Has experience configuring, applying changes to and handling upgrades for wireless devices accounts.
• Handle CAPEX and OPEX budgets and tracking of expenses and has experience with corporate purchasing processes.
• Effective at communicating technical information to non-technical users.
• Displays very strong orientation towards customer service.
• Experience in balancing work priorities within a team.
• Experience planning, forecasting, and carrying out Capital Expenditure projects.
• Willing to travel internationally between multiple Paramount supported locations (as needed) eg. Miami, Colombia, and Canada.
