Role Details:
Our Streaming organization is undergoing a significant technology and operational transformation, optimizing our ability to scale our people, teams and performance success. PMO-Team Operations drives the delivery of key operational transformation initiatives around workforce planning, team expansion, and productivity efficiency. We are seeking a Data & Analytics Manager to lead programs and initiatives around data management, metrics and benchmarking, and analytics. This is a new team which you will have the opportunity to build from the ground up. You will liaise closely with analytics teams in HR/TA, Streaming PMO, and across functions to wrangle data, build analytics capabilities, and create a Streaming center of excellence.
The successful candidate will be able to assess our current state and create a strategic roadmap for building the team and executing our priorities; and at the same time, be willing to roll up your sleeves to address urgent risks and gaps. Must be collaborative, and have the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, manage ambiguity, and make recommendations on new initiatives. Have a deep understanding and experience with data in relation to business processes, particularly in HR and TA, and you are an expert visual storyteller. This role will manage a portfolio of current and backlog initiatives, and will identify new opportunities and make recommendations to stakeholders. The scope of the initiatives will include data management and governance processes and tools; metrics and benchmarking; visualization methods and tools; business consulting, including training and ad hoc requests for reporting and analytics.
Your Day-to-Day:
• Streaming PMO: Measure and assess the effectiveness of departmental processes and procedures. Ensure quality processes and programs are being utilized and are effective by developing performance measurements and communicating performance relative to standards. Ensure optimal efficiency by monitoring work quality; delivering reports, statistics and recommendations for improvement.
• Workforce Planning: Weekly plan monitoring (actuals against target) and gap analysis.
• Vendor Management/Contingent Workforce: Collaborate with leaders in vendor engagement and delivery to establish consolidated reporting and metrics. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews.
• HR & TA: Understand end to end processes and data sources. Consult with HR and TA partners to create analyses, dashboards, and talent pipeline visibility.
• Center of Excellence: Create and lead a data and analytics “guild†with cross functional stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop best practices, share processes and current initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement across Streaming.
• Systems and Tools: Understand current systems and data architecture. In collaboration with peers in PMO who support systems and tools, create a roadmap and manage the full cycle of implementation, from inception to launch.
• Act as a consultant to internal business clients: Train and coach internally on best practices for how we manage, visualize, and tell stories with data to drive better insights and decision making.
• Build and manage a team: Create a roadmap for building out a team. Hire and manage a team of project managers to support the global Streaming business.
Minimum Qualifications:
What you bring to the team-
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent trade experience such as Financial or Business degree.
• Minimum seven (7) years related experience.
• At leat three (3) years people data & analytics experience.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of cross-functional business processes and relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in data visualization and presentation; ability to present technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Executive presence with the ability to quickly pivot depending on the audience; ability to influence at the highest levels and act as a change agent.
• Program Delivery experience, managing the execution of an agile project from beginning to completion.
• Functional expertise: strong data analysis skills and ability to build and track to clear objectives and key performance metrics to drive improvements; solid understanding of people metrics with ability to explain the data insights to business partners.
• Data and systems expertise: Data management and harmonization, implemented and/or worked with systems and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, other querying tools.
• Previous work as a project manager or scrum master in an agile environment
• While this is a PMO/Project Management role, we look for Human Resources or Finance experience to bring to this role.
• Based in Los Angeles, able to travel occasionally between San Francisco and New York offices (when safe to do so).

• Experience onboarding new software development resources into an agile Scrum SDLC environment, building onboarding process for tools, training and culture
• Has worked with Atlassian Jira, Confluence Budget and financial cost analysis experience especially pertaining to resource management.
• Metric reporting, pulling detailed data points from various tools using JQL, SQL, Python, etc.
• Reporting and task management experience with project management tools such as Jira Portfolio, Gantt charts, Miro, Jira Align (Agile Craft), Aha! or similar experience for reporting.
• Previous work as a project manager or scrum master in an agile environment
