Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Vice President, Media Workflows to oversee design and evolution of Paramount’ media workflows from production to delivery, in order to streamline and consolidate content processing globally, drive operating efficiency, and ensure alignment with corporate operating goals including P and Pluto strategic priorities. The role also requires serving as a driver of modernization, consolidation, and efficiency of corporate media platforms from title registration, production, finishing, creation of promotional materials, localization, delivery preparation, quality control through ultimate fulfillment to distribution outlets, including linear playout systems.
Responsibilities
• Develop the platform vision and future state architecture for Paramount’s media workflows considering customer needs, business requirements, and overall technology strategy
• Architect Paramount’s media workflows and operating workbenches with a view to maximize capabilities for functional groups, while doing so with end-to-end integration and consolidation of platforms in mind
• Define product requirements, interfaces, system design and roadmaps for the future state operations consoles and operating interfaces that include feasibility, time, cost, and impact
• Capture and refine workflows for content operations and processing
• Design and deploy modern, streamlined media workflows to power the next generation of cloud channel playout for linear channels
• Manage a team consisting of product managers and architects responsible for products including workflow orchestration, underlying MAM systems, and operations interfaces
• Work closely with the media tech engineering team to make key technology decisions and predictably deliver products against timelines and roadmaps
• Work cross-functionally with operating teams and corporate partners to understand core needs, serve as the advocate for these teams and promote customer-centric decisioning on tradeoffs and priorities
• Conduct structured, data-driven analysis for major decisions, including product assessments, prioritization and technology selection
• Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and leverage AI/ML to optimize existing workflows and expose new capabilities
• Build, mentor and manage a team to create a customer-driven, outcome-oriented delivery culture
• Drive scalable processes and innovation around the product development cycle
• Develop metrics and KPIs to measure outcomes from product efforts and identify target areas for most-leveraged improvement
• Collaborate across teams to communicate product strategies and drive alignment with internal stakeholders
• Serve as an evangelist for the future state media platform to internal and external constituencies
Basic Qualifications
• 10 years of experience working in media and specifically 10 years of direct experience in media operations and technology
• Deep familiarity with common media technologies and formats with specific experience deploying SDVI-based systems
• Previous experience transforming media workflows from legacy technologies including on prem to cloud architectures

• Familiarity with modern Agile development methodologies (including scrum, Kanban)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $300,000.00 - 350,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
