Overview
Overview Our Marketing, Distribution & Operations team within the Paramount Digital Media group is charged with distribution and monetization of premium CBS content across the spectrum of digital partnerships and business models. These include our direct-to-consumer subscription service Paramount , ad-supported streaming across our CBS digital properties and CBS Audience Network partner sites such as YouTube, MSN and Yahoo, transactional digital storefronts such as iTunes and Amazon as well as digital MVPD products and partnerships.
We are a diverse and agile group that works in an exciting and fast-paced environment, working cross-functionally across different departments and partnering with multiple technology/distribution partners to ensure that we deliver CBS content to consumers, however and wherever they want to consume it.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Sports Programming leads all aspects of the strategy and development of cross-channel go-to-market plans supporting the Paramount sports streaming experience of CBS broadcast simulcast sports including NFL on CBS, Masters and NCAA basketball.
Responsibilities
• Plan 360-degree marketing campaigns to promote sports event tune-in on Paramount from messaging and creative development to execution to post-campaign recap and analysis
• Partner across ViacomCBS divisions to highlight cross-promotional opportunities to promote complementary sports programming including pre-game coverage, highlight shows, documentaries and podcasts.
• Build cross-channel messaging strategy to increase engagement among Paramount sports fans and improve the sports viewing experience
• Identify and develop new marketing tactics and opportunities to drive additional viewership and subscribers within the sports ecosystem
• Developing groundbreaking 360 degree marketing campaigns supporting the streaming of sports on Paramount
• Support development of innovative testing ideas and strategies that demonstrate seen opportunities as well as changes in technology and consumer behavior
• Analyze the success of our marketing campaigns and provide recommendations and optimization opportunities
• Partner with internal research and insights teams to develop a deep understanding of the target customer for each event and identify overlap within the ecosystem to inform engagement efforts
Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree
• 6 years' experience working in sports marketing
Additional Qualifications:
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster positive relationships cross-functionally
• A data driven approach to marketing, with experience analyzing and reviewing results
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a challenging, fast-paced environment of multiple priorities and partners
• Excellent oral and written communications skills with strong attention to detail
• Background in the streaming space
• Strong interest sports content
