Overview
Join our Paramount International Streaming team! We are looking for an International Originals and Title/Content Marketing Senior Director. The role will focus on the marketing and planning of our key Original & Exclusive TV shows and films. This role will span co-ordination across a wide-range of cross functional teams and external partners which will include creative partners, media vendors, production companies and talent agencies. They will be a successful marketer that delivers results and have worked within the media or entertainment industry, agency or client side.
They'll able to think/act strategically, develop detailed plans and be willing to implement hands on with a start-up type of mentality. They should balance creativity with analytics and agility with operational proficiency. They should be both idea generator and builder, with a strong sense of accountability, and a keen focus on delivering great customer experiences and strong, measurable results. A strategic marketer and a skilled storyteller, this individual combines the art of creation with an eye for business, team leadership and great program management that can translate into key strategies and projects with the team across the company.
We own great franchises and this role works with the broader Paramount team to bring those franchises to market as well as launch new International Originals.
Responsibilities
• Lead overall strategy and execution for brand-defining TV shows / movies, including creation of goals, approach, audience targets, positioning, project management, creative guidance, and overall communication and engagement strategy.
• Campaign creation and management. They will launch unique campaigns for our content that set new standards for entertainment marketing. They create meaningful relations with the different agencies/studios we partner with.
• Measure outputs against internal and external measures and deliver continuous improvement.
• Lead and drive campaign planning, got to market strategies for international title campaigns, developing and adjusting go-to-market plans and marketing tactics for the international markets.
• Build best in class initiatives & executions for select shows in partnership with creative agencies, studios teams and creative teams.
• Drive creative testing for specific shows in collaboration with the Research team to further optimize effectiveness of current and new creative designs and media campaigns. This includes defining the title research calendar in order to regularly evaluate health of our series in-markets in partnership with the research team.
• Develop partnership programs with pertinent and affine brands to augment our streaming brands.
• Own and present to leadership key performance metrics around customer acquisition, cost per new customer, title efficiency and overall title performances driven by marketing, etc.
Functions
• Lead creative process from concept ideas to testing, to deployment in partnership with external vendors and internal collaborators.
• Build end to end campaigns across social, media, acquisition, engagement, creative with the rest of the organization. Act as a project manager behind multiple teams in charge to bring a new title to market.
• Develop audience testing and research.
• Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from marketing to research) to identify and prioritize needs for the Exclusive and Original shows and films.
• Manage blocking issues, provide partner concern management, anticipate and make trade offs, and meet committed delivery timelines.
• Oversee long-lead creative development in collaboration with creative team; provide creative direction and feedback to agency teams to ensure all is on brand and aligns with campaign and brand strategy
• Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and external audiences, including partner management and progress reporting.
Qualifications
• Senior level experience in content marketing; online and/or consumer marketing.
• Marketing experience using advertisements
• 8 years of experience in direct to consumer media marketing, with proven success achieving goals.
• Capacity to collaborate with different areas involved in the growth initiatives and to coordinate with International, and with different teams preferred.
• Ability and flexibility to adapt to changes in schedules and delivery.
• Excellent data analysis skills, analytical mind and curious/entrepreneurial mentality.
• Intense bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Experience of media planning and user acquisition programs; experience in digital/performance marketing.
Additional Qualifications
• BS/BA in related field preferred.
• Master’s degree in a related field (is a plus).
• Excellent proficiency in verbal and written communication in Spanish and English. Portuguese is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and resilient spirit with experience navigating cross-functional organization.
• Knowledge in TV Content.
• Experience in the Media and TV industry/space strongly preferred, experience in digital video marketing a plus!
• Creativity - Someone who is able to turn cool ideas into reality. Someone who can play with content and brand to impact the right audience with the right message, not from paid marketing channels but in an integrated way from earned/owned channels.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
