Integrated Marketing, Digital Strategy represents the voice of our business units within the digital ad sales organization. The team is charged with market positioning, demand generation, opportunity development, and the post-sale activation of custom media solutions.
The Manager of Digital Strategy, Social Solutions, will support our growing Social business. The Social Solutions team is responsible for developing and advancing social sponsorship strategy for the Paramount brands, empowering and educating Integrated Marketing and Sales on social solutions for brands, and innovating and improving our social offerings in response to evolving client needs.
The ideal candidate is highly organized and thrives in this fast-paced and quickly evolving marketplace. This role will focus primarily on our Sports vertical, but will also support other Paramount brands as it relates to packaging and pricing strategy.
Responsibilities
include and are not limited to:
• Own the development of custom content and sponsorship opportunities on social platforms, architecting solutions that excite media buyers, deliver value to our audience, and drive revenue for Paramount.
• Work cross-functionally with a wide array of internal partners including sales, editorial, production, legal, design, yield, and ad operations, connecting dots and facilitating consensus to support social sponsorship / branded content initiatives.
• Own the creation of sales marketing collateral, positioning our social brand(s) in a positive light.
• Represent our social brands as an internal expert and key point of contact for both sales and integrated marketing, answering questions, educating on sales opportunities, and facilitating sales enablement initiatives that drive efficiencies and growth.
• Own the development of media plans, and post-sale execution of sponsorships and custom brand programs, driving process excellence, flawless execution, and client happiness.
• Implement paid marketing campaigns across social platforms, knowing how best to optimize for engagement and efficiency
• Act as a social content and product expert, recommending executions and formats internally and externally that will resonate with social audiences. The ideal candidate is always ahead of the next trend.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years experience in social or digital media
Additional Qualifications:
• Extremely detailed oriented with the ability to manage various projects at once
• Paid media buying experience on Meta, YouTube, TikTok
• Positive and insatiable curiosity
• Talent in distilling complex information into simple, memorable terms that sales and clients can grasp and act upon
• Objective and solutions oriented, with a focused approach to problem solving
• Experience providing direction to junior team, granting them the authority to voice their opinions and take ownership of their assignments
• Possess a desire to thrive in a rapidly changing environment that evolves with marketplace needs and conditions.
• Experience with Twitter Amplify and Snap Sponsorships
• Passion or experience in the Sports space
