Overview and Responsibilities
The Senior Data Scientist will report to the SVP, and will play a key role in the highly collaborative Data Analytics team. This position will be responsible for statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making within the theatrical marketing field. Are you an experienced Data Scientist with advanced statistical data analysis skills and expertise in presenting findings to internal partners in a meaningful way? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
• Utilize advanced statistical skills to better inform media and creative strategy.
• Support marketing experimentation initiatives within specific markets throughout hypothesis generation, test design, analysis and interpretation phases.
• Partner with key stakeholders in the IT organization to assist with the capture, storage, and processing of key marketing data.
• Create deliverables and present findings to both creative and technical business partners.
• Act as an adviser and develop trusted relationships with Marketing partners.
• Uncover new and future opportunities for analysis.
Basic Qualifications
• 5 years' experience in a highly analytical environment, in which modeling and strategic analysis were regularly performed and managed with senior stakeholders.
• A strong track record of identifying key questions, performing analyses independently, and communicating findings in a clear and concise manner to leadership.
• Knowledge of statistical tools to translate business questions into impactful experiments or analysis.
• Expertise with statistical data analysis including linear models, multivariate analysis, sampling methods.
• Meticulous attention to detail. The ability to juggle multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Bachelor's Degree in Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or related quantitative field.
• Technical knowledge including: SQL; statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB); and visualization software (Tableau, Google Data Studio).
