Overview:
The Corporate Communications group leads Paramount's internal and external communications, corporate social responsibility and awards efforts including transactional announcements, media coverage and executive communications. We are looking for a dynamic teammate with excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills to join the team as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Global Corporate Communications. This position will play an integral role on the team providing support and completing work to further the group's goals.
Responsibilities:
• Handles executive's work and personal calendar and schedules/coordinates meetings and appointments
• Arranges meetings or conferences by arranging conference rooms, issuing meeting requests or invitations and coordinating handouts
• Prepares agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for meetings as required
• Prepares reports and presentations in PowerPoint, Excel, Google Doc and MS Word as required, and keeps internal documents up to date (i.e., talent schedules, timelines, status reports, breaks, etc.).
• Handles all incoming calls and correspondence (heavy phones)
• Performs administrative duties such as filing, typing, and copying documents
• Arranges detailed travel plans and itineraries and compiles travel documentation and expense reports
• Light research duties; research media coverage and industry trends
• Work with executive & publicists to determine budget and handle expenses
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Bachelor's Degree
Additional Qualifications:
• Agency experience preferred
• Highly Proficient with MS software including Word, Google Doc, Excel & PowerPoint, Slack
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work atmosphere; ability to anticipate and manage time efficiently
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff, other administrators, internal and external partners, including senior management, press, talent and creative partners
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to communicate optimally and balance multiple high priority, confidential assignments
• Work experience in an international environment and in entertainment a plus
• Familiarity with a variety of industry concepts, practices, and procedures
