Summary Description:
An Accounting and Office Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of tasks to provide support to the Accounting department in all client account and internal matters, as well as provide support to the Office Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the Accounting department by sorting mail, scanning checks, and sending checks to LA and NY Accounting department members
- Liaise with productions and studios to ensure timely and accurate collection of information
- Send out all ACH back up to clients and participants
- Print wires and ACHs and input them into the system
- Assist with check processing
- Support to the Office Manager on projects as assigned
- Provide front desk coverage as necessary, including greeting guests and receiving packages
- Coordinate certain office activities in the absence of the office manager
- Take on additional responsibilities as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues at every level
- Position requires demonstrated poise, tact and confidentiality
- Accomplished ability to multi-task and follow through on assignments
- Impeccable attention to detail, excellent organizational, planning, prioritizing and time management skills
