Job Summary
Pantaya is seeking Manager, Content Operations & Post Production to manage and liaise with licensors, vendors and content providers. We are looking for a dynamic, organized, resourceful creative problem solver. This is a job for someone who is ambitious and entrepreneurial and can seamlessly transition between oversight of the day to day work, and helping to craft the vision for the future. This Manager, Content Operations & Post Production will combine their production acumen, creative sensibilities, and attention to detail to help ensure that all creative projects are delivered on time, on budget, and up to the highest standards.
What you will do:
• Onboard and maintain relationships with licensors and/or content providers
• Ensure required delivery specs are updated and communicated to partners
• Track and validate all incoming deliverables (AV, CC, metadata, artwork, etc…)
• Oversee and maintain relationship with posthouse and third party vendors ensuring deliverables are properly trafficked
• Coordinate creation and tracking of required assets when production is unable to provide with internal departments and third party
vendors
• Troubleshoot issues relating to quality control and delivery
• Mange delivery of additional marketing deliverables from content providers as necessary
• Ensure timelines are maintained and delays are mitigated
• Work alongside Digital Platform Manager to ensure assets are ready and available for distribution to all outlets
• Manage internal content asset ID database and obtain third part IDs where required
• Assist in asset management of website
What you will bring to us:
• Experience using Adobe Premiere (or equivalent video editing software)
• 2 or more years experience working for a video-centric website or online publisher
Requirements to be Successful:
• Minimum of 3 years experience in digital media, post production, or asset management
• Possess a deep technical understanding of digital video and post production workflows
• Deep familiarity with product technologies and digital distribution platforms
• Proven track record of independently troubleshooting and resolving issues
• A demonstrated understanding of video, audio, caption, and image technical specs and the ability to communicate on the topic to
varied groups
• Experience managing projects cross-functionally
• Demonstrated experience working independently as well as collectively, in situations with multiple or conflicting deadlines
