Full Time Job
The Pac-12 Networks is looking for a strategic-minded Sponsorship Sales Manager to help drive revenue through a strategic lens and creative bent to attract blue-chip partners/sponsors across traditional (integrated) sponsorships, local/national TV advertising, and digital assets.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Senior Vice President, Sales to develop a new playbook for selling the Pac-12 Networks
• Bring best practices from the marketplace to guide original thinking
• Help brainstorm new Pac-12 assets for marketplace based on industry best practices
• Co-develop and/or guide customized sales approach and deck materials for prospects
• Become internal champion working with numerous departments (i.e. programming, pricing & planning, etc.) within the Pac-12 to optimize integrated packages
• Partner with Pac-12 Research team to assess what solutions will work best for specific client needs
• Interact heavily with the internal sales team to help achieve group goals for renewals and new business
• Interface significantly with Partner Services Team
• Assist with value measurement of assets
• Assist with creating tools to provide ROI/ROO of integrated packages
• Keep current with industry trends and client business news
• Meet team and individual sales targets by successfully identifying, developing, and building strong client relationships and closing new business
• Other duties as assigned by the Senior Vice President, Sales
Success will be measured by:
• Addition of new partners for the Pac-12 Networks
• Incremental revenue across sponsorships, advertising, and digital sales
• High success rate for renewals of current partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience working in sponsorship sales or advertising sales at a media agency, digital agency or sponsorship agency
• Strong business acumen with respect to sponsorship, media, and digital industry
• Strong analytical mindset
• Enjoy working in a team setting where all contribute individually for the good of the organization
• Enjoy college athletics and sports, in general!
• Excellent written and presentation skills
• Expert in Window-based software (PowerPoint and Excel), Google Apps and/or Apple apps
