The Senior Director, Partner Services is responsible for the overall management, execution, and administration of the Partner Services business plan to provide quality service to our universities and corporate partners
The Senior Director will lead a team of professionals and strategically grow the Pac-12 Networks corporate sponsorship business through increased sales and a high rate of renewals and will increase partner satisfaction by overseeing the flawless execution of sponsorship fulfillment.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a team and developing corporate marketing partnerships. This position will be responsible for creating and closing a high volume of new business, leveraging current industry relationships to Pac-12 Network's advantage.
Core Functions:
• Responsible for setting and achieving revenue goals for the business, and for being actively involved in the prospecting and sales process to drive revenue growth.
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of the college athletics sponsorship industry, client/partner needs, and competitors by accurately forecasting revenue, delivering quality solutions to the marketplace, and resolving any ongoing client issues or challenges.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts on all twelve of our member campuses as well as our 3rd party marketing partners {IMG, Learfield, etc.)
• Represent and support Pac-12 Networks' mission, brand, and voice with the universities and our partners.
• Interface with internal constituents within Pac-12 Networks, including programming/scheduling, production, digital, and event management to further our university and corporate partnerships
• Build relationships with key members of the conference office to foster broad collaboration and to enable unified communication to our Pac-12 schools
• Drive the conception and delivery of collaborative marketing and promotional programs for all sponsors/partners, and oversee the fulfillment of all contractual sponsorship and partner assets.
• Provide leadership within the Partner Services team to initiate and grow relationships with current and prospective partners through retention activities and added value up-sell opportunities.
• Aggressively manage budgets and fulfillment costs to ensure client/sponsor profitability
• Create and deliver promotional programs that develop Company synergies and increase the value of Company brands.
• Serve as the liaison for both Pac-12 Networks and Pac-12 Conference departments to manage sponsor/partner fulfillment.
• Build a high performing Partner Services team to manage accounts and work collaboratively with internal and external partners by mentoring and growing junior team members
• Provide additional services as requested

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive partnership marketing experience at a leadership level; sponsorship sales and activation experience at a collegiate conference, pro sports league, or team is preferred
• Successful track record in selling and customer account management.
• BA/BS degree from a four-year college or university.
• Deep experience developing high-impact co-marketing programs and prioritizing partnership opportunities.
• Solid understanding of sports television industry and the Pac-12's position in it
• Experience in building strategic marketing programs and a track record of fostering strong partner relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively influence and communicate cross- functionally with senior levels of management within the Pac-12 and across external partners.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to track multiple simultaneous projects and deliverables.
• Able to motivate others through leadership.
• High energy level and extremely motivated to succeed.
• Must possess a valid California Driver's License.
• Capable of working extended hours such as nights, weekends, overtime and on-call as needed.
