Full Time Job
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective distribution partners, focusing primarily on:
• Licensing / digital syndication outlets
• Small (outer market) MVPDs
• Establish contacts in and dialogue with prospective partners, setting calls and meetings to introduce the Pac-12 portfolio
• Design, draft and deliver pitch presentations
• Work closely with VP of Distribution to negotiate and memorialize business terms where necessary
• Manage relationships on an ongoing basis, including fulfillment, reporting, and optimization
• Contribute to development and execution of overall Networks distribution strategy, working closely with team analyst to develop best-in-class client intelligence (e.g. tracking press and quarterly reports, channel lineups, packaging/pricing, etc.)
• Establish competency in subscriber and revenue reporting systems
• Work closely with internal Network teams to source, develop and deliver on any and all client needs (marketing, programming, research, communications, etc.)
• Attend industry shows and conferences
• Other duties as assigned
Deliverables:
A minimum of two new syndication and/or licensing partners, and several thousand new outer market subs.
Requirements:
• Experience in client-facing sales, preferably with a cable network or portfolio of networks; existing relationships a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in data analysis and financial modeling
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps
• Able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and work off hours (nights and weekends) when needed
• Knowledge of evolving television landscape and collegiate sports
• Approximately 50% travel
• BS/BA degree
