Pac-12 Networks is looking for an HR Coordinator who is passionate about providing first-class support to a small fast-paced and high-level Talent Acquisition and HR team!
The HR Coordinator will report directly to the Human Resources Director and will work closely with the Sr. Director – Recruiting & Talent and the Sr. Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Support HR Director and Sr. HR Manager with onboarding, offboarding, employee status changes, ad hoc HRIS reports, and data crunching
Support Sr. Director – Recruiting & Talent with scheduling interviews, maintaining ATS, and the candidate/new hire onboarding portal
• Support on-boarding, employee change, and off-boarding processes ensuring a positive experience for employees
• Resource for data entry and HR transaction/process control
Maintain and audit employee records with a focus on ensuring accurate records management, proper placement, filing, and updating of employee documents and changes in accordance with privacy, state, and federal requirements and HIPPA regulations
• Support the HR team to ensure an effective and timely annual performance review process
• Contribute to the ongoing creative process for improvement and efficiency in HR systems, HR operations, and practices in the organization
• Work with HR team on special projects and company events that reflect Pac-12 Networks culture and values
• Provide support and guidance to employees on company policies including those governing disciplinary action, grievance, and health & safety
• Develop and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with colleagues
• Provide excellent customer service to HR team, Pac-12 Networks employees, candidates, and guests
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
and Requirements:
• Superior organizational skills, high-level attention to detail, data integrity, and excellent follow-through
• Technical Skills with HRIS, Applicant Tracking system, Excel, Word, Google Docs
• Good judgment and decision-making skills, including handling of confidential information
• Willing and able to adjust to multiple tasks and demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
• Resourceful - ability to research, analyze, and reason logically and effectively within tight and conflicting time frames
• Knowledge of HR policies and procedures best practices
• Excellent listening, communication, and writing skills
• Be a team player
• Knowledge of California employment laws
• A commitment to providing customer service
• Experience in media a plus
• 1 – 3 years' experience in Human Resources or another related field or equivalent practical experience
• BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
